Manager of Production

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and proactive individual to serve as our Manager of Production who will supervise our current and future gaming titles from conception to completion and will report directly to the senior leadership at Fun Train. This is a management role for a self motivated individual who is task and deadline oriented. They will assist in keeping Fun Train products running on time, on schedule and on budget.

Requirements

As this is an on-site position, applicants must currently reside in/around Savannah GA.

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Management skills including budgeting and scheduling

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Knowledge of Unity and/or Unreal engine

  • Experience with beta test coordination and data summarization

  • Familiarity with Steamworks, Meta Developer Dashboard & Playstation Partners platform tools

  • Understanding of platform analytics

  • Ability to work in an office and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Tasks

  • Supervise games production schedules, budgets, and deliverables through launch.

  • Communicate with senior leadership regarding the status of projects.

  • Ensure the best performance, quality, and playability of all games.

  • Identify and implement operational processes and seek ways to optimize.

Asks

  • Experience with VR/AR/MR development & and active gamer with a good understanding of the past, present and future of gaming.

  • Working experience with source versioning (Git, Bitbucket, etc).

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and expertise with project management platforms such as Monday, Jira, Slack, etc.

  • A good understanding of QA workflows.

  • The ability to navigate platforms backends on Steam, PlayStation, Meta and similar platforms.
