The entire team at FunTrain is incredibly proud and honored to announce that our VR Horror game, BlackGate, has been officially nominated at The Horror Game Awards in the category of Best VR Horror Game!

Since we launched BlackGate, our goal has been to deliver one of the most immersive and chilling VR experiences possible, pushing the boundaries of atmosphere and fear. To see our work recognized by a dedicated body of horror game experts is a tremendous validation of the passion and late nights we’ve poured into the project.

The Horror Game Awards

For those unfamiliar, The Horror Game Awards are a unique and important celebration within our genre. Founded by two die-hard horror game fans (Phil Dickens and Will Penkeyman) in 2022, THGA was created with the simple aim of celebrating horror, a genre they felt was often overlooked in mainstream ceremonies, and recognizing the developers behind them. Being nominated for an award established by fans, for fans, is truly special.

We send a huge thank you to the organizers and the jury for creating this platform and for recognizing BlackGate.
