Community Update for The Exorcist: Legion

We want to be transparent with the community about an important change.

Despite advanced renewal discussions, the licensors of Exorcist III chose not to renew the license for our game. We wanted to continue with them, but at the last moment they declined. This was surprising—and from a business perspective, puzzling. Exorcist: Legion was a very successful game for everyone, which was a significant factor when initially developing SIN.

However, that's in the past and now we're focused on the future: The game you've grown to love isn't going anywhere. The characters, story, environments, and gameplay you've experienced are all owned by us. With the license expiring, we're transitioning to a new title that we fully own and control.

Since its release, multiple companies have worked on the game to make improvements, fix bugs, and bring it to as many platforms as possible—most notably our key partners VRMonkey, Venturion, and the team here at Fun Train.

The game will continue under a new title: Exorcism of the Legion (Last Rites)

Your game will update automatically. All the content, improvements, and features remain exactly the same. Nothing is being removed. This change simply allows us to keep the game available, continue supporting it, and build its future without licensing restrictions.

Watch for updates to Exorcism of the Legion (Last Rites) in the near future.

VR is facing challenges right now, but it's nowhere near dead. Our newest multiplayer game BlackGate is thriving, with over 75,000 active users last month alone. Our mixed-reality action game, Jungle Man, continues to amaze audiences on Quest 3 and 3s.

Please continue supporting independent game companies like ours—and others—who are committed to pushing the medium forward. We're proud of what we've built—and we're just getting started.

Thank you for your continued support,

Douglas Nabors Founder, Fun Train Inc.
