Laymen simply refer to them as 'Sabers' due to the sword shape made by the constrained plasma beams. You'll need to obtain the correct security clearance to unlock these in the armory, so keep your eyes out for secrets on BlackGate Station and the Cargo Vessel. Watch out, as intense usage of the ‘Sabers’ can cause the tool to shut down (for employee safety).
